I've always had a passion for making art. When I was young I'd spend hours quietly drawing or painting -  a pencil or paintbrush never too far from my hand.

 

Fast forward all these years later, and you'll still find me happily making a mess on paper and canvas. I've even been fortunate enough to make a career out of my combined passion for art and my love of the natural world. 

 

I especially enjoy creating portraits of people's pets. I believe these much loved members of our families deserve to have pride of place on our walls.

 

And because I've had special pets of my own (that's me in the picture with our beloved Rufus, who sadly passed away in 2014), I completely understand how important they are to their 'mums and dads.' I may not know every 'fur baby' I paint personally, but I try to incorporate as many little quirks and characteristics as I can in my artworks, to ensure each individual spirit shines through.
